Hurricane Katrina

Camp Fire USA Lone Star
Council is currently providing free daily after-school
supervision for children, ages 5-12, weekly leadership
development programs for teens, ages 12-18, and workforce
development and employment programs for young adults, ages
18-21, living in low-income apartment communities throughout
Greater Dallas County. Many of these apartments communities are
now housing evacuee families of the Katrina disaster.

In response to
Hurricane Katrina Relief
, Camp Fire has announced its
ability to quickly setup additional after-school programs in
apartment communities depending on their location and the number
of youth from evacuee families living there. To learn more,
please contact the Lone Star Council at 214 824 1122 or

[email protected]
