Camp Fire

Adventure is Camp Fire’s
program for boys and girls in the fourth, fifth and sixth grades. Trail Seeker,
Wood Gatherer and Fire Maker are special projects just for Adventurers.

The Trail Seeker project is for
Adventurers who are just starting to explore the Adventure trails. You try out
activities on different trails. The Wood Gatherer and Fire Maker projects will
take you further along the five Adventure trails. You explore new places and
learn new things.

You earn an emblem when you
finish each of these projects and a bead when you finish Action Crafts that you
will find as you explore the five Adventure trails. They are:

  • The Great Outdoors
  • Creative Living
  • Helping People
  • Knowing Me, My Family and My
    Community

  • New Knowledge and Skills

The Adventure
Uniform

Uniforms show that
you belong to Camp Fire. Both boys and girls in Adventure wear royal blue award
vests, caps and white polo-style shirts. Girls can wear a blue skirt and knee
socks. Both boys and girls can wear blue pants or shorts.

The blue award
vest is very important to your uniform. You can decorate it with the beads and
emblems that you earn as you explore the Adventure trails. You can make designs
on your vest that represent you and your club.

Wear your
adventure uniform to club meetings and special events with other Camp Fire
members. Wear your uniform when you go on field trips or to do service projects.
Then people will know that you belong to Camp Fire and that you are proud of it!

You can get your
uniform as well as all of your beads and emblems and a guidebook to Adventure
trails at Tee Pee Togs, the council store,
which is located at the Lone Star office.
