Camp Fire USA Lone Star Council

Board President ’93-’95

 

 

Served as Board of
Directors President from 1993-1995. Marc is a long-time
friend of Camp Fire USA Lone Star Council and has
generously supported the council’s annual auction, and has
been lovingly dubbed the “King of the Auction.”

and Family Centers

 

 

Chief
executive officer for not-for-profit organization serving
emotionally disturbed and at-risk children and their
families through family therapy, casework services,
community school, neighborhood revitalization and other
programs.

 

These
direct services are complemented by extensive research and
evaluation, as well as training institutes for mental
health/human service professionals and for educators.

Senator Hutchison secured
$200,000 in appropriations for Camp Fire USA to finance
capital improvement projects in Texas.

 

Six
Texas Camp Fire councils benefited from this
appropriation, including the Lone Star Council in Dallas
($49,881), East Texas Council in Longview, Corsicana
Council in Corsicana, Texoma Council in Denison, First
Texas Council in Fort Worth, and Tesuya Council in
Cleburne.

 


Specifically the Lone Star Council will be adding heat and
air-conditioning to the main lodge at Camp

Ellowi in Cedar Hill.
