Camp Fire USA Lone Star
Councils fourth annual
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE KID LUNCHEON
was held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday,
April 11, 2002
, at the Westin
Galleria Hotel
in Dallas, Texas. The luncheon was a
celebration of youth and the adults who serve them. Every year, Camp
Fire USA honors individuals and groups that have demonstrated a proven
commitment to the lives of children. This year, our On Behalf of
Youth honorees were:

Bank
Of America (
Corporate
Leader
)

Regen Horchow and Jeff Fearon
(
Community Leaders )

Sondi
and Ray Pace (
Camp Fire
USA Volunteers
)

Ron Morris (
Youth
Development Professional
)

The
luncheon was a continuation of Absolutely
Incredible Kid Day
 (March 21, 2002), which is Camp Fires
national day of youth recognition. This event asks adults to write
letters of love and encouragement to the children in their lives.

Thanks to our honorees,
honorary chairs and volunteers, we were able to raise over

$20,000

for our programs, which
affect the lives of over 7,000 youth each year!
