In earning their emblem, youth participants
will make several valentines for local veterans who have been
hospitalized. Katie will teach several different techniques of card-making
so that everyone can try something new.

We completed 300 valentines last year for
hospitalized veterans in Dallas and would like to make even more this
year!

Come for a fun morning of sharing and
learning!

Workshop
will also include two important guest speakers:

United States
Congressman

Jeb Hensarling

will speak about the importance of veterans and why it is important to
recognize and show our appreciation to veterans.

Captain Brigance, a veteran of the US Army, will share some of her
experiences in the Gulf War as well as share what being a veteran means to
her.
