Turning Today’s Kids Into
Tomorrow’s Leaders!

Camp Fire USA Lone
Star Council
,

a youth development agency, provides programs
for boys and girls ages 5 to 21 in the Greater
Dallas area, including after-school programs for
young children, leadership
and workforce and development programs for
teens,
family strengthening programs
and weekend and summer camping
programs.

These programs focus on meeting the
urgent needs of youth living
in low-income apartment communities or attending low-performing
schools. Our programs build traditional values, responsible
decision-making skills and positive self images for
youth.

Ten
Year Old Makes Birthday Gifts Charity Gifts

Would you
give your birthday
presents away? Ten year old Parker Dixon did just
that!

 Why
would Parker Dixon, son of Stephen and Gillian Dixon,
decide to give up all
of his presents from his tenth birthday party? “I
wanted everyone to bring me presents that I could
give away to kids that might not receive anything
this year at Christmas” Parker said, “Helping other
kids is the best birthday present anyone could give
me!”

Parker received
over forty gifts, all of which were given at Christmas
to the youth Camp Fire serves. Happy tenth birthday
Parker, and thank you for making a difference this
holiday season!
