Camp Fire USA youth members can earn their "Salute to Hospitalized Veterans" emblem at this special workshop, which Katie is conducting as she works towards her WoHeLo project. Youth participants will learn:
  • Who is a veteran?
  • What have veterans done for us?
  • Why do we salute them?

In earning their emblem, youth participants will make several valentines for local veterans who have been hospitalized. Katie will teach several different techniques of card-making so that everyone can try something new.

We completed 300 valentines last year for hospitalized veterans in Dallas and would like to make even more this year!
