Spending time in an outdoor environment and learning new and fun
activities is just one of the many ways we can help our youth achieve this
very important mission -- "to build caring, confident youth and future
leaders." With that in mind, Camp Fire USA Lone Star Council offers an
action-packed summer at
Ellowi Day Camp.
Boys and girls ages 6 - 12 can participate in nature activities,
swimming, canoeing and archery (for youth ages 8 and older), arts and
crafts, sports and games, outdoor cooking and so much more all on 65
beautiful wooded-acres conveniently located in Cedar Hill, Texas, just 20
minutes from downtown Dallas.
There’s plenty to do for older youth, too! Teens ages 13 - 15 can
strengthen their leadership skills by joining the camp as a Junior Aide
Counselor (JAC). They will assist in guiding younger youth in day camp
activities. Teens ages 16 -17 are encouraged to apply for volunteer
positions. They will assist day camp staff in daily activities and provide
leadership and supervision skills.

REFUNDS:
Camp fees are refundable only under the following conditions:
± If
the session is filled or cancelled;
± In
the event of severe illness or death in
the
family;
± For
medical reasons, once written documentation from a physician is
received.
NOTE: Additional
information regarding what to bring, health forms, fee balances, rules and
regulations and maps will be mailed upon receipt of registration form and
deposit.
